Recreational fencing

Welcome to fencing. If you have never watched fencing before you are going to find it an exciting and complex sport. At times fencing may appear to be doing little more than standing around and "psyching-out" the opponent, before engaging in lightning speed action, where split second timing can win or lose the bout.

A “try it” class on Mondays mornings from 10:00am to 11:00am for ages 5 to 8. This is a fun introduction to fencing emphasizing coordination, footwork, sportsmanship and basic fencing skills. This class may be repeated. 4 sessions monthly, join at any time. Uniform and equipment supplied. No annual membership fee required.

The price for recreational fencing is $80 with a 3 m onth commitment. Equipment can be rented from us at a reasonable price. The recreational fee includes group lessons.

 

Beginners who join the program just as a recreational activity will allowed to use club equipment. Nonetheless, it is required to all our new students to buy theyir own personal gear after the first 3 months of being members of our cademy. No exceptions.

 

Experienced fencers/athletes who fence just for fun are required to pay a daily $15 floor fee.

 

No equipment is provided for fencers who pay a floor fee. Experienced athletes are must owe their own personal gear. No exceptions.
