12 state-of-the-art competition strips with electronic scoring machines!

Utah Valley Sport Fencing offers you electronic, competition scoring for all three weapons: foil, epee and sabre. Our strips have overhead displays on both ends of each fencing "strip" or lane. Members can purchase equipment or repairs from our full service armory. Parents may watch their children progress from our observation bleachers or sit with brother or sister in our movie lounge.

Equipment is provided for new students at Utah Valley Sport Fencing. All students are highly encouraged to begin aquiring their own personal equipment. Many students make the effort to purchase one new piece of personal equipment each month until they have a complete set ($450.00). Until then, UVSF (non-profit since 1996) uses its funds to help you and your family to have the most educational experience possible!

Learn from the Pros about foil, epee, and sabre. We will teach you beginning form and footwork, dueling history and modern fencing technique. Let our staff help you to determine the best type of equiment for you. Our full service armory will fix your bodycord, rewire your weapon, stitch your torn uniform or adjust your point!

You will find resources for all of your fencing needs here at UVSF. In addition to equipment and armory service as well as state of the art competition lanes, we have our own athlete "locker room" !

Driving Directions:

From I-15 (either North or South): Exit on University Parkway (Near UVSC). Continue heading East (toward the mountains) up University Parkway and turn left on State Street. Head North on State Street (you will pass University Mall on your right). The Fencing Center is located just North of RiteAid, across the street from the Scera Theater.
